Angeline Hood - Owner

Originally from San Diego, Angeline lived in the Tri-Cities for over nine years before relocating to Vancouver in summer 2019. In California, she worked with several nonprofits, assisting individuals with job training. Between 2010 and 2014 Angeline worked for two tutoring companies, as well as tutoring privately before creating Eclipse Tutoring.

Angeline completed her Bachelor degree at Heritage University in mathematics, with a secondary teaching certification in 2015. She attained an upper percentile score of 284 out of 300 on the required WEST-E exam, showcasing her mastery of mathematics. Angeline taught high school math at Kamiakin High School within the Kennewick School District for four years. In 2019 she completed her Master of Science in mathematics at Montana State University with an emphasis in math education. In fall of 2019 she will begin teaching middle-school math within the Ridgefield School District. Angeline has experience with various ages and backgrounds, including persons with disabilities. She has a passion for languages (with knowledge in Spanish, French, and German,) a love for mathematics, and is an avid reader. In her leisure Angeline enjoys writing and doing puzzles.

Andrew Palmowski - Primary Regional Tutor

Andrew completed his Bachelors of Science degree in mechanical engineering at Arizona State in 2015. He tutored students in math and science while he was an International Baccalaureate student in high school, as well as during college and beyond. He enjoys working with students, helping them to develop a thorough understanding of topics – believing in the necessity of grasping fundamental concepts first, in order to apply them successfully in the future. After working as an engineer for several years in several diverse industries, Andrew has developed critical thinking skills and hopes to continue to utilize these strategies to help others learn more efficiently. In his spare time Andrew enjoys staying active and spending time outdoors. Some of his favorite activities are snowboarding, tennis and beach volleyball.

Erik Faaborg - Tutor


Originally from Eastern Montana, Erik lived in various locations around Montana and the Pacific Northwest before relocating to Los Angeles in 2018. He ran the Math Center at de Toledo High School in West Hills for two years, assisting students with math homework and test preparation. Erik also tutors middle and high school students privately in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, statistics, physics, chemistry, and biology. He understands that each student learns differently and is deeply rewarded by finding the most effective way for each student to learn new and difficult concepts. He has always been passionate about math and science, and truly enjoys discussing these topics one-on-one with students of any level. In his free time, he enjoys hiking, traveling, cooking, playing the piano, or going to the beach.
