Angeline Hood - Owner

Originally from San Diego, Angeline lived in the Tri-Cities for over nine years before relocating to Vancouver in summer 2019. In California, she worked with several nonprofits, assisting individuals with job training. Between 2010 and 2014 Angeline worked for two tutoring companies, as well as tutoring privately before creating Eclipse Tutoring.

Angeline completed her Bachelor degree at Heritage University in mathematics, with a secondary teaching certification in 2015. She attained an upper percentile score of 284 out of 300 on the required WEST-E exam, showcasing her mastery of mathematics. Angeline taught high school math at Kamiakin High School within the Kennewick School District for four years. In 2019 she completed her Master of Science in mathematics at Montana State University with an emphasis in math education. She currently teaches high-school math within the Portland School District. Angeline has experience with various ages and backgrounds, including persons with disabilities. She has a passion for languages (with knowledge in Spanish, French, and German,) a love for mathematics, and is an avid reader. In her leisure Angeline enjoys writing and doing puzzles.

Pam Bisconer - Primary Regional Tutor

Pam is originally from North Dakota but has lived in Washington State for many years. She received her Bachelor degree in business and communications from the University of Washington, and is an avid Huskies football fan. Pam studied human resource management at Seattle Pacific University and graduated with a Master degree in HR. Pam was in honors math and English in high school. She is in the midst of her eighth year of tutoring and loves helping students learn. She also mentors middle school age children through United Way. In her spare time, Pam enjoys hiking, working out, dancing, water skiing, and tennis.


Gus Aguilar - Tutor

Gus was born and raised in Spokane. He recently graduated summa cum laude from Whitworth University with a BA in mathematics and secondary Education. Gus has been doing field work through Whitworth for the past three years, having been placed in both public and private schools throughout Spokane. Gus also previously tutored for his university's math department through his student teaching spring semester. He believes in the importance of building rapport with his students and is dedicated to providing them the support they need to excel. In his spare time, Gus enjoys playing video games and board games, listening to music, and spending time with his friends and family.


Claire Smith - Tutor

Claire was born and raised in Seattle and is a recent transplant to the Spokane area. She graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor’s degree in early childhood and family studies with an emphasis on teaching and learning. Claire has almost ten years of experience working with children ages 2-10. She has been a preschool teacher, a camp counselor, a desk-side reading tutor in an elementary school, and the assistant director of a before and after school program. Clair enjoys helping students of all ages learn new study strategies, practice material in ways that appeal to their unique learning style, and regain academic confidence. In her free time, Claire enjoys hiking the many trails around Spokane and reading mystery novels!


Sarah Bussey - Tutor

Sarah was raised in Boston, Massachusetts but moved to North Carolina to pursue a Bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University. At Wake Forest, Sarah studied psychology and neuroscience. After graduating in 2022, Sarah moved to Spokane where she is currently working towards a Master’s degree in marriage and family counseling at Gonzaga University. She has a wealth of knowledge to share with students in need of tutoring assistance and has a remarkable ability to inspire by relating to each student’s challenges. In her free time, Sarah loves reading, hiking, cooking, and spending time with friends. 


Clarissa Managhan - Tutor

Carissa was born and raised in Spokane. She attended St. Mary’s Catholic as a child and then Gonzaga Preparatory School for high school. Currently, Carissa is on schedule to receive her AA degree from Spokane Community College. She is heartfully compelled to set aside time for her community to help children who struggle in school. She is very passionate about seeing children succeed since she has also struggled with school in the past. Carissa has a creative sensibility and apart from being very artistic she also is great at English, science, intermediate math, and American and world history. She is very enthusiastic and can’t wait to work with you and your family! She enjoys her pets and drawing in her free time.


Boris Godun - Tutor

Boris was born and raised in Spokane, Washington and is currently pursuing a degree in electrical engineering at Eastern Washington University. Boris is passionate about finding innovative approaches to deepen the understanding of fundamental concepts. His aim is to assist people in achieving their learning goals, as he firmly believes that everyone encounters unique challenges when it comes to learning. Boris enjoys playing chess, exploring the scenic hiking trails in the Spokane area, and cherishing quality moments with his friends and family.
