Angeline Hood - Owner and Tutor

Originally from San Diego, Angeline lived in the Tri-Cities for over nine years before relocating to Vancouver in summer 2019. In California, she worked with several nonprofits, assisting individuals with job training. Between 2010 and 2014 Angeline worked for two tutoring companies, as well as tutoring privately before creating Eclipse Tutoring.

Angeline completed her Bachelor degree at Heritage University in mathematics, with a secondary teaching certification in 2015. She attained an upper percentile score of 284 out of 300 on the required WEST-E exam, showcasing her mastery of mathematics. Angeline taught high school math at Kamiakin High School within the Kennewick School District for four years. In 2019 she completed her Master of Science in mathematics at Montana State University with an emphasis in math education. She currently teaches high-school math within the Portland School District. Angeline has experience with various ages and backgrounds, including persons with disabilities. She has a passion for languages (with knowledge in Spanish, French, and German,) a love for mathematics, and is an avid reader. In her leisure Angeline enjoys writing and doing puzzles.

Pam Bisconer - Regional Tutor Liaison and Tutor

Pam is originally from North Dakota but has lived in Washington State for many years. She received her Bachelor degree in business and communications from the University of Washington, and is an avid Huskies football fan. Pam studied human resource management at Seattle Pacific University and graduated with a Master degree in HR. Pam was in honors math and English in high school. She is in the midst of her eighth year of tutoring and loves helping students learn. She also mentors middle school age children through United Way. In her spare time, Pam enjoys hiking, working out, dancing, water skiing, and tennis.


Lanie Wade - Tutor

Lanie was born and raised in Spokane. She graduated from North Central High School, and is now taking math and science courses at Spokane Falls Community college. She hopes to eventually transfer to a university and pursue a bachelor of science in physics. Lanie has always enjoyed learning the intricacies of math, and loves to share her appreciation of the subject with others through tutoring. She strives to make practical, real-world connections for her students as a means of generating sustained interest that often benefits overall results. In her free time, she likes to mountain bike or ski depending on the season, working out, watching movies, and playing The New York Times games.


Emily Mansfield - Tutor

Spokane is a relatively new home for Emily, who was born and raised in Lynnwood, Washington. Being fascinated by the natural world from a young age led Emily to develop a keen interest in the sciences. She graduated from Biola University in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in physics. Emily then utilized her degree as a Calibration Technician with Fluke Networks in Everett, WA.

Currently, she is a high school tennis coach for this upcoming spring season. Emily loves the joyful experience of learning and is passionate about fostering a sense of discovery. She has helped others to actualize joyful discovery in learning through various tutoring and training opportunities. She, herself, is continually learning new strategies for helping others in math, science, and tennis!

Emily has numerous hobbies, which include knitting, oil painting, pottery, tennis, and exploring nature. She loves seeing the beauty of math and physics in the real world, and specifically, in these hobbies!


Rosie Melville - Tutor

Sarah was raisRosie grew up in Lamont, a small farming town in eastern Washington, graduated from Sprague High School and then moved to Spokane, Washington. She is now a student at Central Washington University, and is pursuing her bachelor’s degree in psychology. Rosie has always enjoyed a variety of subjects in school, including math, English, science and psychology. She previously attended Cal Poly Humboldt for a couple of years and benefitted from considering diverse educational strategies. She finds joy in the discovery of tutoring success because for her the achievement of her students is infectious. Rosie loves spending time with her rabbit, two cats and leopard gecko. She also enjoys going for walks and doing YouTube workouts. with friends. 


Sophia Ardon - Tutor

Sophia was born in Seattle, although she spent the majority of her childhood growing up in a small suburb of Los Angeles. Returning to her Washington roots, Sophia then moved to Spokane to attend Gonzaga University and study biochemistry with an emphasis in pre-med. In addition to her STEM courses, she found she enjoyed a wide array of classes and was able to complete a minor in English. Sophia also ran on Gonzaga’s track and cross country team, quickly learning the benefit of efficient study habits and time management…Go Zags!. Sophia enjoys helping students optimize study tools to best suit their own needs and their particular skillset. She has found this helps greatly as an essential confidence builder in their academic journey. In her free time, Sophia is an amateur bread baker, outdoor adventurer, book lover, and cleaner-upper after her Goldendoodle, Max.
