Tutoring

Eclipse tutors are experienced in a variety of subjects.  We are experts in many levels of mathematics, and adept in English.  We are multilingual - with the ability to successfully tutor English second language students.  We are both accommodating and familiar with tutoring students with disabilities.

Evaluation

Eclipse tutors will provide periodic, customized progress evaluations upon client or parent request.  Our clients come first.  We are committed to the success of our clients, and to their total satisfaction with our services.

Scheduling

Scheduling may be done as far as four weeks in advance by phone 509 438-8101 or email at eclipsetutors@gmail.com.  We utilize Teachworks for online scheduling management.  Eclipse will work with you to accommodate your tutoring needs.  We will make every effort to find the most agreeable time for your session.

Location

Tutoring typically takes place at the student's house, or an appropriate and mutually agreed upon public venue.

Pricing

Standard Rates

The hourly price for tutoring services varies by location. The price for two students tutored at the same time is one and a half times the amount of the individual rate.

Tri-Cities $50 - Spokane $42 - Portland-Vancouver $55

Pre-Paid Packages*

Pricing is reduced as follows for multiple hours paid in advance:

  • 5 hours at 12.5% discount (must be used within two months of purchase)

  • 10 hours ar 20% discount (must be used within four months of purchase)

*Pre-Paid Package Deals are non-refundable except as otherwise specified.

Invoicing

You will be invoiced regularly if not paid in advance. Invoices will be sent prior to each session, or, with multiple sessions per week, invoices will be sent weekly.  Invoices will be issued through Teachworks to the email address you provide. Payments may be made via person-to-person online banking, or with either a debit or credit card. Payment is due prior to each session, or within three days of receipt of invoice.

All tutoring fees will be paid directly to Eclipse.  Please do not pay tutors for tutoring services.
